Homemade plate meat pie

 

Soften onion and brown the mince

 

I add tomato ketchup for a bit of ‘zing’

 

Blend together

 

Easy-peasy pastry, I don’t ‘do’ pastry!

 

Prick base with fork, add filling

 

Lid on, make slits and brush with egg

 In oven till golden brown (about 30 mins 180)

 

I served with petit pois, fresh creamed potatoes, cauliflower and gravy.

    Oooh this looks really good. I wonder if I could get away with the onions with my DH. (The Seafood Risotto I made had them and he had no clue!) GOOOO ME! LOL
