Tackle it Tuesday

I thought I’d be able to give Spud’s hair a quick trim without upsetting him too much. So I put one of his favourite T.V. programmes on, gave him a packet of cheese snacks and hoped for the best…

 BEFORE

AFTER

Well, he wasn’t very happy about it at all and the haircut is on hold for another little while…

P.S. The Sheraton bathtowel is rightfully mine!

I never could get near my son’s hair … his papa used to take him off to a shop where he would allow this one hairdresser to cut his hair. He knew he’d get a treat afterwards … Spud’s is just adorable!

    Thanks Kate

Sounds like you need another holiday… I’ll wait for awhile before I cut/trim Mr.Giggles hair..

*SMILE* I cant do my son’s either – my sister does it, with a lolli pop in the bathroom – he likes “holding” the scissors to give them to her when she’s ready! 🙂 It’s cute but if I am there, he breaks down!

  6. You wanna come over to my house? LOL You can hold down my two and I’ll hold down yours! *wink* EVERYONE here needs a haircut but by the way they react to the mere mention of a haircut, ya’d think I was asking them to chew off their own arm! LOL

Can’t Dad take him to the barbers with him? It’s a nightmare cutting kid’s hair, I gave up with mine!

Lol – I gave my son his first home-haircut this last week and well, he’s going back to the hairdresser as soon as the super short spots grow out long enough for a decent hair cut, lol.

Well, at least you tried to tackle it! Thankfully, my son always cooperated when he was little – it was when he got a little older and had an opinion that the battle began. That’s when I started letting someone else do it. I don’t think I’ll attempt my daughter’s – I don’t wanna mess it up! Though I did trim her bangs. Good luck with an eventual cut!
