A Great Evening Out

As I mentioned a few days ago, we were having dinner in Roly’s Bistro on Friday. Well, that was last night and we had a great night! The food was perfect. I has Foie Gras And Corn Fed Chicken Terrine With Organic Strawberry Compote and a rare fillet. For dessert I had Creme Brulee, it was so good.

We went onto a bar and boogied for a couple of hours, then back to the hotel bar for more drinks. By this stage (3am) I was on pints of water!

We celebrated ‘Little Chef’s’ 36th birthday with  brothers, sisters and partners. I knew it was going to be a good evening from the start, when I passed THIS young man and his other half in the hotel corridor as we were going to our room. Nice!

Talking of boy bands, have you heard this yet? Rule The World by Take That. It’s brilliant!

Are you suggesting your chef needs to slim down? I’m not surprised with all that delicious food you make him, maybe you could send it over here and I’ll send you some lettuce leaves instead!!!

I love Roly’s but haven’t been in a while, sounds like a great night.

Glad you enjoyed it hon. Does sound like a great night. Guess who I was out with last night? Initials JR.

I’ve not heard the new Take That song… and probably won’t go out of my way to listen. I’m not a big fan.
