What does the color dark green make you think of?
My back garden fence, I think I’ll repaint it in the Summer!
How many cousins do you have?

On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being highest, how honest are you? 10 Although I do tell a lot of ‘white lies’ to the kids to make my life easier!

Name something that is truly free. The countryside, I love it. The beauty of where I live can be overwhelming on a beautiful sunny day.

Using the letters in the word SPRING, write a sentence.

Any clever gardeners out there who can tell me the names of these plants in my garden?

I know this is a clematis, but which type?

Witty Wednesday

May 28, 2008

A group of relatives were at the hospital, visiting a very sick member of the family.

The doctor appeared, looking grave, and told them the bad news:

‘Your relative is seriously ill, and his only hope is to have an experimental operation – a full brain transplant. This is a very risky and costly operation, but your insurance will cover everything but the cost of a replacement brain’.

After a period of silence, one of the family members asked, ‘Well, how much will it cost for a brain ?’.

‘8,000 pounds for a male brain, and 500 pounds for a female brain’, the doctor replied.

The men in the room started to smirk, and tried to avoid eye contact with the women. Then one of the women blurted out the question on everyone’s mind:

‘Why does a man’s brain cost so much more ?’.

The doctor smiled. ‘Well’, he said. ‘Female brains are priced at a discount because they have actually been used’.

Monday Motivation

May 26, 2008

The rules of the game are simple enough…just list 5 things you wish to achieve during the week ahead and hopefully get motivated!

I did everything on lasts Mondays list, which I’m really chuffed about. Keeping it simple is the trick, nothing too taxing! Just list the little things you keep putting off.

This weeks to-do’s are…

  • Have all P.E. kits ready today
  • Pay Community Games fees
  • Update ‘Carer and Toddler’ poster and post around the town
  • Finish varnishing window frames and front door
  • Iron one hour a day to get through it all this week!

Motivation Monday

May 19, 2008
The rules of the game are simple enough…just list 5 things you wish to achieve during the week ahead and hopefully get motivated!
I’m ready for today’s Motivation Monday. I’m training for the Flora Mini-Marathon again and this year will be sponsoring Suicide or Survive.  I chose this charity because one of my brothers attempted suicide last year, and I feel I want to ‘give something back’ if you know what I mean…
  • Fill my sponsor card
  • Renew Carer & Toddler Group insurance (missed it last week)
  • Have a 30 minute brisk walk 3 or 4 times
  • Spring clean Belle and Spuds bedroom
  • Get a windowcleaner

I tag Suzanna Earthpal(he he)Bindi Suburban Mom and Mrs Hairy Woman!
