July 4th

July 4, 2007

Barb at A Chelsea Morning has a lovely idea for the soldiers who are in Iraq. AnySoldier.com Take a look…

Overwhelmed at  Overwhelmed with Joy has a bit of fun going on.  A Pay It Forward Book Exchange. I’m already a Bookcrosser but I think this is a much better idea. I left a couple of books out ‘in the wild’ with Bookcrossing and they weren’t found. One was thrown in the bin because the shop where I’d left it, was then closed and refurbished!

As you can see by my sidebar, I love Food Blogs. I enjoy looking at recipes and pictures of good food. I found this recipe and I think the children will love it. I made my Summer Activities Planner on Monday. Remember this post? And I’ve added a couple of baking days. I found and added another food blog called Val’s Kitchen and another Cara’s Cravings I’m looking forward to reading more from them…

We’re off to Joey’s now for lots of fun! Byeee………..

Happy July 4th to my American friends!

Works for me!

How many books do you have? What do you do with them when you have finished with them? Are they in a cupboard? Under the bed never to be read again? Do you pass them on?

This is what I do with mine, please comment after you see the Bookcrossing site!

runningbook33.gif   Bookcrossing  is the perfect way to pass on the books you have read whether you enjoyed them or not. Take a good look, you may even want to join!

I’ve recently joined a bookcrossing group. Click  BOOK. What a good idea and an ideal way to pass your books on instead of having them collecting dust. I’ve dug up a few books to ‘leave in the wild’…
