I have set up a mental ‘Summer Camp Account’. I will deposit 100 euro per month to fund the girls’ Summer activities next year. No way will I go through eight weeks of feeding, entertaining, amusing, screaming, picking-up after, tidying, sleepovers……..

I will pack them off for an action-packed Summer of various camps to keep them happy and busy. Then when they come home, they will be so tired, they will crumble into a heap and sleep. Happy days!

36_1_33.gifMan in a Suitcase, remember that? Well, this morning I also discovered Boy in a Suitcase….having a pee! MY SON! He stood naked against my open suitcase and emptied his bladder inside it. Then he ran off and hid. I was just about to pack a few things for my England trip!

I’m wearing a denim mini-skirt and have just been ordered by no.1 to put on something more appropriate. More waterfights in the garden today (Cools them down and wears them out!) 😎

I am going out to potter in my garden now. My Russian Vine is wild and needs training (so do I my sis thinks!) so I will see to that then check my beds for weeds and slugs. Then load the car with children and recycling and do my bit for Diarmuid Gavin who always insists we ‘Reduce, Re-use, Recycle’

Flower on cruise Click on!

I think apart from some pics I took of the children, this is my favourite. It also holds some happy memories of a cruise we had with friends…………

Keeping the children busy for the next 62 days is my goal! I will have my ‘adopted one’ for 7 of those weeks, so will probably go away somewhere as a family the week I don’t have him. We are fortunate enough to live on a small estate which is littered with children of all ages…….but that wont be enough for ‘No. 1’. She will want to spend more time on the estate across the road where lots of her school friends live. The link below is one of the places we will frequent, hopefully once a week. Its the perfect place to spend the whole day. Its so beautiful. It’s like being in a different world! I’ll take some pics and post them later. I also have the Pony Camp booked for No.1 and 2. and Irish Dancing Camp for 1, 2 and 3.

We have access to a holiday home in Donegal which the children love.

It has a playground opposite and is on the seafront. It takes 4 hours to get there so we’ll have a couple of long weekends there (He Who Should Be Obeyed will be working over the Summer and will only have one weekend off)

We also are looking forward to a weekend in Cheshire where we will meet up with my brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces, cousins I haven’t seen for years and their children, some of who I’ve never seen!  Hopefully we will have a nice warm Summer. (If it rains, I’m *u*k*d!!!)
