EuroSpend it somewhere else

The modern logo was introduced for the 2004 Contest to create a consistent visual identity. The host country's flag appears in the heart.

   What is all the fuss about? This is just a complete waste of money. The only bit of entertainment for me, was Sir Terry Wogans usual sarcastic and humorous comments! Nevertheless, I watched snippets through the lounge doors and hoped that Ireland stood a chance, at least.

10 years of Riverdance

 It was just a fluke that I blogged about Michael Flatley this weekend, because today, the Riverdance team celebrate ten successful years of Irish Dance shows. It all started during the interval of the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994. I remember it so well. Myself and HWSBO were watching it and were absolutely ‘gobsmacked’ at the whole event! It was the best ad for Irish Dancing EVER!  Click diddly-dee for a look at that special moment….

 Michael Flatley is getting married in Fermoy on Saturday. The Irish Independent have a column on the event today and says the ‘intricacies of the celebrations are being kept a close secret’….

The Caterers organiser told the paper, “I can’t tell you what is on the menu”
