Clearing up…

   I came down this morning to a kitchen of horror! I usually clear up before bedtime to make sure this doesn’t happen. So, that’s what I’m doing at the moment. Rummaging through cans, bottles and half eaten vol-au-vents.

 The party went well and the food was good. The trifle went down a treat, although I don’t like it particularly, the guests who hadn’t had trifle for years did!

I’ll tell you more later, must crack on…

Now for more nibbles

 

 We are making little canapes now, without a cutter! An eggcup is the perfect size, then a pair of scissors to cut them out. No.1 is covering some of them with pate.

I’ve organised a Christmas Party for the Mums at the Toddler group I run. So, tonight, while you all wish I was blogging with you, I shall be eating and drinking with 15 other women on the loose!
