Coffee time…

I haven’t done much blogging this week because of my new diet and exercise regime! I’m actually enjoying it so far. The girl’s check that I’m doing the exercises as it shows on the website and I’m making all my own meals from scratch. The alcohol allowance of 7 units per week is killing me!

The food isn’t bad, although I could quite easily throw in a pinch of salt to each dish! I’ve bought slimline milk which really doesn’t taste as bad as I thought in coffee and my sugar has gone from 1/2 teaspoon to 1/3. I’m also doing a 20 minute brisk walk each day, usually in the evening when the children are getting ready for bed and don’t know I’ve gone ( when Hubs is downstairs, of course!) Last night I ‘escaped’ at 10.15pm and nobody missed me!

While I was hopping today, I found this on TopChamp’s  blog. It’s just so cute. Have a look.

I also had this link saved for weeks waiting to post. I love cooking utensils. I love using handy little gadgets like my garlic crusher which makes using garlic so easy. Fancy pampering yourself in the kitchen?

It’s Mid-Term break here in Ireland. Finding things to occupy the children and keeping them amused isn’t always easy. But, I find the best incentive to a trip to the local swimming pool, is to ask them to tidy their bedrooms. You may already know the problems I’ve had with their rooms, well it really has got easier. I may just give their rooms a quick tidy while they have breakfast, but that’s rare nowadays.

                          Have a great weekend bloggers!

You can swim in Ireland in February???? My kids are asking to go to the pool too, because the weather has been a balmy 65 degrees here the last couple of days. But…the water in the pool is still about 40 degrees!

Also, I used to sell Pampered Chef for 8 years!
